A group of four adventurous Mitrata trip participants spent four days trekking in the “hills” around Phewa Lake in Pokhara, Nepal, with the opportunity to view sunrise in the Annapurna range of the Himalayan mountains from Panchase Peak.
A Night of Joy and Connection: Celebrating the Special Bond Between Sponsors and Children
Every year, shortly after arriving in Nepal, a cherished tradition takes place: a special dinner that brings together Mitrata’s sponsors and their sponsored children. This long-awaited event is filled with anticipation and excitement, as sponsors and children finally get to sit across from each other, sharing stories and enjoying a meal. For some, this is the first face-to-face meeting after years of exchanging letters. For others, it marks a joyful reunion, rich with familiar smiles and shared memories. Regardless of the circumstances, the evening is always filled with happiness.
