We have officially completed the first month of Miles for Mitrata Kids (M4MK) 2023! This year, our goal is for at least 50 participants to raise $30,000 for our Contact Center. So far, we have reached nearly half our goal participants, and we are well on our way to raising our goal amount of funds!

A wonderful time was had by all at Trivia Night 2023!

Trivia Night 2023 took place on Saturday, April 15th and was an absolute blast! A total of 35 teams competed in eight rounds of fun, fast-paced trivia. Trivia Night also featured a Fund-A-Need auction to purchase clean water for our Contact Center, a Discovery Field Trip for the older students, and a trip to the Fun Park including pizza and ice cream! Through Trivia Night, the bazaar, 50/50 raffle, and the Fund-A-Need auction, we were able to raise over $28,000 for our three goals!

What does it mean to Fund-A-Need?

This year, at our Saturday, April 15, Trivia Night, we will be fundraising for both necessity and fun! During the event, we will have a Fund-A-Need auction that will give attendees the opportunity to provide the children at the new Contact Center with clean water, a multi-day discovery trip for 25 older children, and a much-loved Contact Center field trip to the Fun Park that will include pizza and ice cream.  Although the auction will take place during the event, you can donate to the Fund-A-Need anytime before, during, or after the event here:

Sudan, one of Mitrata's long sponsored children, graduated from Mitrata into independence and completed medical school in 2022. He is now working as a medical doctor in a clinic in rural Nepal-a goal he had for many years. He is the only doctor in the clinic serving local people in great need of medical care.
