Gathering Together for Miles for Mitrata Kids!
One of the most amazing aspects of Miles for Mitrata Kids is how our participants support one another. This past weekend, Miles for Mitrata Kids got off to a strong start as multiple participants organized events that allowed them to gather together with other participants and earn their “miles” at the same time!

Notable Changes Within our USA Staff
Dr. Christine Schutz, Executive Director, explains, “For the first time, we are adding a full-time staff member to our USA Operations team.” This role will take over our communications as our current Communications Manager steps down.
In Honor of Nina Balsam
With sadness we announce that former Mitrata Board member, Nina Balsam has passed away from this world. Nina served on the board for several years and was very instrumental in helping Mitrata grow into the organization it is today.
Trivia Night was a Success!
Trivia Night 2022 was a success! Over $17,000 was donated for our Contact Center and COVID-19 relief supplies. Not to mention, it was a blast! We can’t wait for next year’s Trivia Night!

BSF Hosts Letter Writing Parties for Students!
This week our school children were able to visit the new Contact Center and BSF Office to receive their sponsor letters! They also took the time to sit and write replies. We love to see our new spaces getting put to good use!
