Help a Child, Fund a Need

2022 Trivia Night is here!

We are so excited for our third annual virtual Trivia Night coming up at the end of this month. If you haven’t already, register your team now and learn more about the event!

This year we are fundraising for emergency kits for our families in greatest need. A severe lack of testing and vaccines in Nepal have meant that strictly enforced lockdowns have been a constant threat to the Nepalese people and economy over the past two years. We have a fundraising of goal of $14,000 to help us continue to build and distribute emergency kits for each of our families where parents have lost their jobs or come under even greater financial hardship during the pandemic.

These families regularly need food, hygiene, educational supplies, and school supplies. Give now to supply:

  1. Bags of lentils, rice, and spices;

  2. Hygiene supplies, such as soap and toothbrushes;

  3. Paper, educational aids, and pencils; or,

  4. Workbooks for home education.

Our second ask is for our new Contact Center building. Our early childhood program, or Contact Center, moved to a larger building at the end of 2021. This 3.5 story building includes a yard and also houses our after-school program and older children's transitional housing apartment.

The new building

Moving in!

This new building is a long-term dream for our organization that will help us expand in the future, but it requires more furniture and electronics. Our goal is $12,500 total for the following items:

  1. Children's desks and lunch tables;

  2. Teachers’ desks, tables, and chairs;

  3. A playground set for the new yard;

  4. A large TV; and,

  5. An office computer

We will hold a live auction during the Trivia Night event. If you are unable to attend the event, please consider giving today to help us support our families in need. We encourage attendees to donate ahead of Trivia Night on April 30 as well! As always, thank you for your continued support.
