Trivia Night is BACK

First, we want to thank everyone who participated in last year’s Trivia Night. We exceeded our goals and were able to raise money to several months’ worth of emergency kits to our families and replenishing supplies in the Contact Center that were exhausted during the first few weeks of COVID-19 lockdown in Nepal. This event was key in these efforts — and of course, we all had a blast “seeing” everyone again!

Getting ready to begin Trivia last year!

We are excited to share that we will be hosting our second annual Virtual Trivia Night on Zoom on Saturday, March 20, login at 6:00 p.m. CST with trivia starting at 7:00 p.m. Like last year, we will be hosting five rounds of fun, fast, multi-media trivia will be brought to you by the incomparable Brian Agovino. Register your team and team members, buy mulligans, give to the Fund-a-Need auction and sponsor the event on our website at www.mitrata.org/trivia.

This year, funds will go directly towards the continued distribution of emergency kits to our most at-risk families under Nepal’s continued duress throughout the pandemic. We are also fundraising for housing supplies for our children who had to return to their villages from Kathmandu and their schools last spring. Now, schools are beginning to open up, and as a result, our partner organization in Nepal, BSF, is having to find emergency lodgings for our children. We need supplies to help them out in these efforts, including blankets and sheets to help keep our children warm against the winter chill in Nepal.
