Keeping warm and sleeping well this winter

Yogesh gifting blankets

Last week, the Contact Center children received a warm blanket and a fleece bed sheet each for their homes. The kids were super excited that they are going to be  warmly tucked in during these cold wintry nights.

Children at the Contact Centre and their families mostly live in small rented tin shacks or outhouses that are ill-equipped to keep themselves warm often forcing them to reconcile with this harsh and biting reality each winter. Nepal gets very cold in the winter and many of these houses lack a proper heating system. A good night’s sleep is vital to helping our children learn and become successful individuals!

We hope our small gesture will help the kids stay warmer at home while they sleep.
