Inspiring Work at the Contact Center

Working at the Contact Centre has always been a passion of mine. Seeing the children’s situations makes me feel more determined to work here. We help them become good citizens and good human beings and also help them to create a successful future.

I get to make a very small contribution to this journey in a child’s life early on, along with my other colleagues at the Contact Center, and I feel quite fortunate to do so. I really feel happy and encouraged when I see their innocent and smiling faces despite having to face numerous difficult situations at home almost regularly. They never forget to smile, despite their frequent family problems. I have seen children in their very difficult times when they first come to seek an enrollment in the program, and I have also seen how they thrive when they have their basic needs — such as daily meals, warm and comfortable clothes, and a safe place where they feel loved — filled and taken care of upon enrolling in the Contact Center.

By its very nature, the Contact Centre, which is an early childhood school readiness program, is a very flexible program. I have learned and developed new formats and projects as per our children’s needs. I get to collaborate on new and improved methods from time to time, and that is always very exciting. I feel proud to be part of BSF and the Contact Centre, which I fondly call my ‘happy place.’
